Special announcement!

Here at the Craic House we’ve just come out of a meeting of the five families, and have decided that it’s time we dropped one of our massive craic bombs.

The T2 Rally we know you’re already loving, it’s great isn’t it? but how could it be MORE great?

Well, you see… we haven’t told you the whole story. We’ve been holding out. We’re teases, and damn proud of it. It’s about time that we made a special announcement!

Tipperary 2 Timbuktu is gonna be a great craic. And it would be a great craic the second and third times - but we like to see our customers coming back again and again. We decided the best way to make that happen would be to make it different every year.

How did we do that?

Well, are you sitting comfortably?

T2 doesn’t stand for Tipperary-Timbuktu.

It’s true.

T2 stands for Twinned 2. That’s right - each year the T2 Rally will go from one twinned town to another. This year (and next) it’s Hay-on-Wye (Wales), which is twinned with Timbuktu (Mali). We’re starting in Tipperary this year because we can, and we feel like it (that’s the way we roll), but we’ve got a stop off at Hay-on-Wye along the way.

The format will be that we’ll plan the route, and drive/ride it ourselves in order to get GPS waypoints, make a roadbook, find suitable overnight stops etc the year before we actually run the rally - which is why next years destination will also be Timbuktu. Ofcourse, to keep it interesting, and to keep you lot guessing, the exact start and end locations will be kept top secret until the last minute

So, there you have it - T2 Rally, different every year and STILL probably the best craic in the world
